Availability
Primail is an implemented macOS email client in internal preview. This page is an availability record, not a storefront. It does not link to a release artifact, mobile beta program, nightly channel, or working store listing.
Use this page and system requirements for platform facts. Automation interfaces and Mail and configuration sync describe current CLI/MCP and provider-IMAP limits.
The active GUI uses Tauri 2 + React. An internal Developer ID signed build may exist for development and testing. Developer ID is not a public distribution channel.
The accepted official Apple sales and public distribution channel is the App Store, when a later release is authorized. There is no established public App Store listing today. Do not look for a direct stable or nightly disk image from this site.
Configured build minimum: macOS 11, as recorded in
primail-tauri/src-tauri/tauri.conf.json. That is a build setting,
not proof that every supported OS and CPU has been tested. See
System requirements.
A full iPhone product is future work. There is no public iOS beta, invite form, or response-time promise. The Tauri iOS bundle records a configured minimum of iOS 15; that is not a shipping app.
Linux and Windows
Section titled “Linux and Windows”Linux and Windows appear as source packaging targets (deb, rpm, AppImage, MSI, NSIS). Native Core credential persistence and integration verification are pending. There are no published installers or distribution signatures to verify.
Headless CLI or MCP use on those hosts is source-level only. See Install the MCP server for the local-build procedure; that manual does not provide a public download.
Android
Section titled “Android”Android is future work. There is no Play Store listing.
What you can use from source
Section titled “What you can use from source”From this repository, on a machine that already has the toolchain:
- the macOS GUI (local development or an internal signed build)
- the
primailCLI - the
primail-mcpstdio server
See the repository README for commands that actually exist. Those commands are local development instructions, not a public binary channel.
Commercial direction
Section titled “Commercial direction”Approved launch direction: a full trial, then a one-time purchase, through the App Store only. No subscription prices are published. Final price, trial length, license, device, and upgrade terms are pending.
Source
Section titled “Source”This documentation is generated from the Primail repository. There
is no public GitHub download advertised here. Workspace crate
metadata currently declares MIT in Cargo.toml; that is not a
public distribution or a claim that GUI binaries are open source.
