Manage email signatures
Each account can have signatures stored on this Mac. They are not synced by a Primail cloud account.
Edit signatures
Section titled “Edit signatures”- Settings → Accounts → the account → Signatures.
- Add, edit, or delete signatures for that mailbox.
- Mark one default for new compose from that account.
Settings → Composer → Signatures is a jump to the same editor. There is not a second copy under Composer.
The editor auto-saves as you pause. You can export or import a portable signatures document from that panel.
In compose
Section titled “In compose”If the sending account has a default signature, full compose inserts it.
Pick signature can appear when that account has at least one signature. It sits next to Account, From, or Send as. A single mailbox with no identity list may not show the picker. The default still applies.
- Account or From changes the sending mailbox.
- Send as changes only the From identity on that mailbox.
Compact and inline reply do not run the same picker.
HTML and images
Section titled “HTML and images”Signatures are HTML. Imported HTML is sanitized. There is no
drag-a-logo control in the editor. An <img> that points at a
remote host will be fetched by recipients who load remote
images. That is not an anonymous embed.
Primail does not promise that every other client will render the signature the same way.
Sent with Primail
Section titled “Sent with Primail”Settings → Composer has an optional Sent with Primail tagline when no signature is selected.
Agents
Section titled “Agents”signature_list, signature_create, signature_update,
signature_delete, and signature_set_default are registered.
See the MCP tool reference.
